"For over a year I had been searching for help. The unrelenting lower back, hip and leg pain was progressively getting worse and nothing short of surgery for the ruptured L2-3 disc seemed to be working. The simple everyday things in life you take for granted like sitting down for a meal, standing at work, going for a walk, or getting a few hours of sleep were all difficult because of the varying degrees of pain. When this kind of pain goes on for too long as it had for me, you get completely worn down and begin to despair. Well, as the saying goes, the darkest hour is just before dawn, and so it was for me. I was a week out from scheduling surgery when I visited Kristen. She had successfully treated me for some neck and shoulder issues several years before when I lived in the Annapolis area. So I thought I shoulder travel back to see her as a last ditch effort to avoid surgery. After a few visits over a two week period Kristen was not only able to identify the underlying problems and free me of constant pain, but in her own very kind and caring way, also showed me how to continue to strengthen and condition the key mobility areas of the body required for a healthy and active lifestyle. Kristen is hands down in a class by herself. -D.S. 6-2022
"I came to Dr. Cooper a broken-down, over trained, and discouraged runner/athlete suffering from chronic injury/pain. I left my first visit feeling dramatically better than when I walked in, and, most importantly, I left with hope that I would be able to continue to participate in the kinds of physical activities I love. Dr. Cooper is exceedingly knowledgeable, incredibly skilled and I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. And on top of it all, she is one of the nicest and most caring people you will ever meet" -A.R.
"Kristen is by far the best DPT in town. She can get to and address the root of your problem quickly so that you start feeling better ASAP. Also, her skills with dry needling are unmatched. Seriously, you should try it". -D.B.
